Newly installed, these banners were custom-made for Cuvée, an elegant French restaurant in Carlton, deep in the heart of wine country. The unique color combination of deep, bark brown and silvery grey, trimmed in chilipepper red, complements the existing color scheme. These banners add sparkle to the plain storefront, while maintaining the air of sophistication established by the owners. See the last photo below for a peek at how it looked before the banners were in place. |

Janet chose a jewel tone Spinnaker©. See how it picks up the tones of the cotinus "purple robe" in the background, and sets off the the many shades of sparkling green. |
Bill's use of the "brights" Spinnaker©, set in a bed of zinnias and sunflowers, drew attention to the open garden showing off Amy Whitworth's brilliant design for a garden in suburbia. |
Bill and Amy found the perfect place to display Skydancer©: high on a wall, where it can dance freely without becoming entangled in the shrubbery. |
Flying Bunting© is usually displayed using a bracket, but here Bill and Amy drove a garden stake into the ground at an angle, then slid the pvc pipe over it to mark the entrance to the garden. |
A combination of Flying Bunting© and Which Way© turns a dull stretch of sidewalk into a happy and inviting place. On the right, a dowel holds a duet© pennant flanked byspirit flags©. |

Flying high over Bucharest, Romania, Which Way© is mounted in a way that never would have occurred to me, but seems to be working out very well. Love that Georgia O'Keefe sky! |
Ellie's two Spinnakers©, in the "nautical" color combination, can just barely be glimpsed through the gloriously burnished foliage of the maple tree in the foreground. |
Susan's lush vegetable garden sports a Spinnaker© in each of the three raised beds. Note the different colors on the middle one. How artistic! I wonder if they double as scarecrows. |
Here is Cuvée before the banners went in. Of course, this was taken in the dead of winter, but don't you think the banners add pizazz to the look of the edifice? Scroll on up to see. |
